The annual Auction in Support of the Yemen Canteen - a unique event led by writer Pavla Smetana - is here again, and now is your chance to be a part of it! This charity auction runs online from 11 November until 24 November at 19:00 Czech time.

It is open to all who want to support starving families and children in Yemen through an original way - by auctioning unique items, experiences or gifts to add to your Christmas kit or to give to loved ones.

How does it work? On the Facebook group, Auction in support of the Yemen Canteen - for the I Help as I Can Society (Aukce na podporu jídelny v Jemenu - pro spolek Pomůžu jak můžu), you can auction or bid on items that you would value yourself - these are gifts, experience vouchers, handmade decorations or other valuable and interesting items that others can auction off. Whether you offer your own product, service, or browse through the auctions of others, the proceeds from each successful bid will go directly into the Help As I Can Society's transparent account, where every donation turns into a helping hand for those most in need.

The proceeds from the auction specifically help to provide for the operation of a charity canteen in Yemen, where people are suffering from acute food shortages. Not only that, but the funds will also support schools where hundreds of children receive lunches, often the only meal of the day.

What's more, the auction is simple and takes place directly in the comments below each post. Always bid at least 50 CZK more than the previous bidder and watch to see if you are the winner of the auction. At the end, the highest bidder will be the winner, who will send their donation to the transparent account of the organization Help as I Can. Every bid counts and contributes to ensuring that people in Yemen have access to food and basic necessities.
